This is us on the morning of our wedding day… We are childhood friends, and we got married on October 1st of 2016, it feels like yesterday. This image was taken at sunrise, it reminds us why we do this. That day is one to remember. That day is about the celebration of the love that you have for each other, and sharing it with your closest people as they witness your commitment of a future together. It isn’t about anything else, it isn’t even about the pictures (we blush to say it, but it’s true). It is much more than that, it is about those honest moments that give importance to the day and life in general, for both of you and for the people who will be there with you.
We seriously think it should be that way, just be happy and let sink in the fact that you are choosing to spend your lives together, day after day. Enjoy. Let the day surprise you. We didn’t plan or pose for a single photo, we just soaked in the love and enjoyed the moments.
I remember us days later trying to remember if we had a “first kiss” after the toast! Yes, there are many very important things to consider, like the natural light or the time for the portraits, that we will gladly advise you during planning, but the most important thing is to let things happen as full of true emotion and as real as they are. What matters is that you live your day full of incredible moments and that is what we are going to capture as the day goes by.
P.S. We did kiss after the toast; there is a picture of it. – Trust in your photographer, trust in us.
